Eye Candy 10/25

Female Hottie: Janet Jackson

This summer we were all saddened by the passing of Janet's older brother Michael, but let's not forget the talent she has, let alone the total hotness! With hits such as "Rhythm Nation", "Black Cat", "That's the Way Love Goes", and a plethora of others, as well as a new album in the works, the only question I have about Janet is, how did Jermaine Dupri end up with her?

Male Hottie: Clive Owen

I'll admit that Clive Owen is becoming one of my favorite actors thanks to his roles in movies like Shoot 'Em Up, Sin City, and Duplicity. Women everywhere seem to swoon over this guy, and I'm sure that my female readers will be doing the same and chastise me for waiting so ling to get him up here. Rumors have it that Clive is going be in Spider Man 4 as Kraven the Hunter, but before that we have to wait for Sin City 2 to see him next. Can you control yourselves ladies?

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Yasmin Deliz

The movie Next Day Air brings us our random hottie for this week, Yasmin Deliz. Yasmin is a Colombian veejay (apparently they actually play videos on TV down there), model, and actress. She has also appeared in a few American videos by artists such as New Kids on the Block. It is possible we could be seeing more of her in the states soon. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

MILF: Angie Harmon

Angie Harmon's big breaks came with her roles on Baywatch Night, Law & Order and most recently Women's Murder Club (I think its since been canceled). She and husband Jason Sehorn have three daughters.

Classic/Retro Hottie: Barbara Streisand

The iconic Barbara Streisand makes the list as this week's classic hottie. At 67 years old, its hard to believe that she hasn't slowed down since her career started in '57. Although these days she's doing more concert performances than anything, you can always check out her earlier perform aces in such classics as Hello Dolly, Funny Girl, or The Prince of Tides. Her most recent film was Meet the Fockers, where she played Roz Focker, a role she will be reprising in the upcoming Little Fockers.

Wow, week after week of goodies! LOVE Clive. Fantastic, fantastic actor. Inside Man is one of my faves, and he was heartbreakingly awesome in Children of Men.

I really didn't like Sin City, but he was one of the elements in the movie that I enjoyed. He's just uber cool all the time.

He's supposed to start off a potential series of Raymond Chandler stories as well, with Miller directing--I'm hoping Miller sticks with more traditional noir and doesn't take the hyper reality approach of Sin City.
