Eye Candy 1/17

Female Hottie: Amy Adams

I have a thing for redheads, so its really no surprise that she would eventually make this list, right? Amy Adams first reached mainstream success with Enchanted. Since then, her career has been red hot, with appearances in a variety of movie genres. She was last seen last summer in Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian and Julie & Julia. Hopefully her career will continue to be as hot as she is

Male Hottie: Jason Isaacs

Jason Isaacs is currently best known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. Apparently, women drop at this guy's feet. I don't see why. To me, he looks a bit like an older version of Jude Law, but who am I to judge? A surprise role that many people may overlook is that he was George Darling/Captain Hook in Hook.

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Zhang Ziyi

China and the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon are responsible for this week's random hottie, Zhang Ziyi. If she looks a bit familiar, then you may have seen her in Rush Hour 2, Horsemen, or Memoirs of a Geisha. She also lent her voice to Karai in the TMNT movie. Her American career is primed to take off with a couple of films set to be released in the next year.

MILF: Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar is best known for her years playing Buffy in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, although I'm sure there are more than a few guys out there who think her claim to fame is that kiss from Cruel Intentions. She and hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. just welcomed in a baby girl back in September. Gellar's career includes roles in All My Children, The Grudge, Robot Chicken, TMNT, Scream 2, and both Scooby Doo movies. Her next project will be a series for HBO called The Wonderful Maladys.

Retro/Classic Hottie: Robin Givens

This week's retro hottie may best be known for her marriage (and divorce) from Mike Tyson, rather than her career, but Robin Givens has actually been on screen a bit. Her biggest role were in Head of the Class and on the big screen with Eddie Murphy and Halle Berry in Boomerang. The rest of her career has been mostly guest appearances in everything from The Cosby Show to Burn Notice.

Amy Adams lost much of her sex appeal to me after watching the interview she did on Letterman in promotion of "Julie & Julia." For she came across as a blithering idiot. In all fairness, however, it may not be her fault. For I have seen Halle Berry and Salma Hayek also act like that on his show. In fact, Halle was so bad, that it made me respect her even more for winning an Oscar because it proved just how great of a performance she had pulled off in "Monster's Ball" if she really was that stupid!" Do you think that they may get paid extra for acting so dumb while on his show, or is it that the brains of gorgeous women just naturally turn to jello around Paul?

@FishHawk--my mother and I have been saying for years that they must pay women to act like idiots on Letterman's show. Especially when they all flirt with him. *gag* I rarely watch the show because of it, but the only women I've seen who didn't go all stupid was Cher--she really kicked his a**

As for the hotties, I can actually say with authority that Jason Isaacs is pretty handsome in person--moreso than he is on screen. He's not really my type, but he was pretty sexy/evil in The Patriot--in fact he was the only good thing about that awful movie. Gah.

And speaking of kicking a**, Zhang Ziyi is awesome. :P I'm glad to hear she's got some more films coming up!
