Blogger new look
This weekend, Blogger, decided to change the look of the dashboard and all that stuff the user. um...uses.
I'm not sure I like it...or don't like it, but there really isn't anything I can do about it, really.
It isn't necessarily confusing, per se. As a matter of fact, most of the changes are just cosmetic.
I guess it is just that whole thing where things aren't the way they used to be which causes some initial discomfort that is my issue.
I know some of you are fellow Blogger users. What do you think of the new look?

Kind of a drag
Have you ever been driving along, say downtown or some similarly crowded area, only to be caught behind someone going too slow. One you pass them, though, it is like all of a sudden they figured out they want to start driving faster than everyone else, almost like a drag race!
What makes it even worse is that they do everything they can to stay even with you. If not for them having to turn off to where they were going, then who knows how long this may have gone.
Yes, this happened to me not only this morning, but this evening as well!
Ugh...is it any wonder I hate driving?!?

Looks like she made it
One year, I went to a camp and met this beautiful trumpet player who could play circles around me. I always wondered what happened to her. Well, the other day I found her on facebook and today she was on the Rachel Ray show!

Hope this doesn't happen in your state...
For those of you that don't live down here in the bayou boot, you may not be aware of how our beloved (note the sarcasm) governor. He basically wants to cut out teacher pensions and tenure, start a voucher program so that kids can all go to private schools (I've already had 4 parents who has said they are going send their kids to private schools next year), and finally, all teachers, at least those that teach core subjects will be evaluated and retained based on the scores their students get on tests.
Needless to say, the sheer thought of all this caused quite the outrage. There were even protests, but it did no good, because somehow all this was signed into law. My theory is that the dumpkopf governor bought the votes to pass it, or has something on all the people that voted yes.
