Not as classic a beauty as Marilyn, but this beautiful babe is known for her bikini bod back in the day. Not too long ago she was on TV and still looks pretty hot, given her age and whatnot.

Looks like they've learned

It may be amplified due to the fact that I live in south Louisiana, but it appears that the government has learned how to handle a hurricne in the last 3 years. Things are more organuized that what I hear they were like last time one of those things was bearing down on the state. They even moved up the LSU game (which is like the center of the universe around here...lol) becuse of safety and traffic issues. Could it be, they actually learned? Guess we'll really know when/if it hits and all is said and done. Today, the weather is beautiful. Calm before the storm, I suppose.

MILF for VP

It looks like John McCain picked his running mate yesterday. The governor of Alaska, MILF(she has 5 kids), and was former beauty contestant winner I believe, Sarah Palin. I'm not a political blogger, and will never be, but by looks alone, I have to say McCain did a good job. I was expecting him to pick some stuffy old guy lime most politicians are anyway.

If McCain were to win, and then, heaven forbid, something happen to him, I would gladly watch and listen to this woman!

OK, we all know that he picked her for 2 main reasons:
A) get the Hillary supporters that for some reason won't vote for Obama
B) get the horny male vote

Man, politicians can get desperate!

Salsa

This morning I woke up and attempted something I had never done before...a cardio salsa workout!!!!

I've done Tae bo, Tai chi, Hip Hop Abs, Yoga, and even Richard Simmons in the past, but the little woman had a salsa workout DVD that I found and figured, "What the hell?"

Let me say, it felt good doing it. The time flew by. Usually when I do some sort of workout, it seems like it never gets to the end, but before I knew it, this was over. That may have been because the women on there weren't exactly an eyesore. Perhaps it was because I actually had fun realizing even more so that I can't dance...especially salsa!!!!

I think I'll try it again at some point in time. Don't want to use it so much that it becomes a chore.

Pin Ups

Like most guys, excluding those of the homosexual variety, I enjoy looking at beautiful women. There is nothing wrong with looking at a female form in some form of medium. Lately, though, I have found my newest obsession is pin ups.

I'm not talking about the centerfold type from Playboy or Penthouse or anything. Those are just smut. i'm spaking of the vintage 30s and 40s pin ups. Classic beauties that have real curves, and leave something to the imagination (in some cases).

Yes, I like alot of things from that time period. Sometimes I even wonder if I was born in the wrong era.

There'sa hurricane a-comin'!!!!

3 years ago south Louisiana was hit hard by hurricanes Katrina and Rita(although if you listen to people talk, they just got hit by Katrina... poor Rita gets forgotten...lol) Well, it appears that Gustav is headed this way. Not sure if he'll make landfall, what damage will be done, or at this point, what's going on ,but I do know that folks are getting ready for him.

Now, when Katrina and Rita came through, I was living in north La. All we got up there was some heavy rains. Now, I'm an hour away from New Orleans. I've been told, there's no need to worry, but they also said that about New Orleans.

I'm not sure if I'm scared or excited about this. I mean, yeah, this could be a natural disaster and all, but it would be something I could tell my kids about and I'm also a bit curious to see what actually happens for real. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

The worst part about this is that traffic is bad enough down here. Should Gustav cause evacuations, traffic will get worse! On top of that, this is holiday weekend and opening weekend for LSU football. I would not want to be a traffic cop having to deal with all that traffic!
