Female Hottie: Ashley Judd

This week's first hottie was born into a celebrity family. Mother Naomi and sister Wynona were the longtime country music duo the Judds. Ashely, however, went a different direction with her career and became a successful actress, appearing in films such as De-Lovely, Kiss the Girls, Norma Jean & Marilyn, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Tooth Fairy, and the fortchoming Dolphin Tale. As you can tell by this picture, she is also an avid sports fan, particular of Kentucky basketball and auto racing (both NASCAR and Indy). Currently, she is in talks to star in an action series on ABC. Hopefully she gets it. Who wouldn't want to see this every week?

Male Hottie: Denzel Washington

Denzel is an Oscar winning actor and has been one of the top leading men in Hollywood for as long as I can remember. He's also a devout family man. His resume includes films such as Malcolm X, Mo' Better Blues, Training Day, Remember the Titans, Mississippi Masala, He Got Game, The Book of Eli,Philadelphia, Glory, and that's just the top of the iceberg. Interstingly enough, almost everything he's in he gets nominated for some kind of award, often winning. I don't really see what ladies see in him, but he's apparently well-loved. Not bad for someone who got their start os a little show called St. Elsewhere, huh?

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Gemma Arterton

British actress Gemma Arterton is this week's random hottie. She is best known to American audiences for her roles in Clash of the Titans (the remake) and last summer's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It looks as if her career on this side of the pond is set to take off, as she will next be seen over here in Men in Black III. Let's hope we get to see more of this fair skinned hottie!

MILF: Toni Braxton

Our MILF for this week comes to us from the music world. Toni Braxton was a multi-time Grammy Award winning singer with hits like "Another Sad Love Song", "Un-Break My Heart", and "He Wasn't Man Enough". These days, though she is still actively recording and performing, many may know her better for her time on Dancing With the Stars. Can you believe with a body like that, she has 2 kids?

Classic/Retro Hottie: Mitzi Gaynor

Our classic hottie for this week is best know to audiences for her roles in musicals such as There's No Business Like Show Business and Anything Goes. Her career was mainly limited to musicals, but in said musicals, she flourished. Today, she is touring with her one-woman show Razzle Dazzle: My Life Behind the Sequins. At 79 years old, she can still get up there and sing and dance with these young wipper snappers.

Female Hottie: Toni Braxton


Toni Braxton is a Grammy award winning singer, with a body as hot as her talent. Such a shame she was voted off Dancing With the Stars so earl in favor of Cloris Leachman. Did I mention she has 2 kids and still looks this hot?

Male Hottie: Simon Cowell


American Idol's Simon Cowell is the judge responsible for all the cranky, British judges on these reality competition shows. That's right, if not for him, there wouldn't be any of them. Still, ladies seem to have some kind of crush on him, especially now that he's newly single.

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Amanda Bynes


Amanda is a breath of fresh air in young Hollywood. You never hear about her out at some club late at night drinking. She's not flashing for the paparazzi or entering rehab everyday. She's a highly talented actress best known for her roles on The Amanda Show, What I Like About You, and last summer's hit movie Hairspray (where she earned this spot). Hopefully she gets bigger and better things coming her way. She's definately worthy of a spot in the eye candy
series.

MILF: Kate Winslet


Perhaps best known for her role as Rose in Titanic, Kate is an extemely talented actress who has gone out of her way to say she's proud of her curves. The pereniial award nominess (hopefully one of these days she'll actually win) is a mother of 2.

Classic/retro Hottie: Judy Garland


Many people seem to forget that Judy Garland had a career beyond The Wizard of Oz, where she had her memorable role as Dorothy. Granted, none of her later films have been nearly as successful as Wizard, but she did make them. One of her duaghters, Liza Minneli, has had a successful career as well. Such a shame she died of an accidental drug overdose.
