Stay out of it

Not too long ago, there was a YouTube sensation that was both funny and chastised the media and people for their over scrutiny of Britney Spears. Remember this?

So, what's the point of all this? Well, I'm sure you've all seen the whole Rihanna/Chris Brown drama. Now, I'm not going to sit here and defend Chris Brown. Domestic violence is wrong, no matter which way you look at it, but it Rhianna wants to get back together with him, then why are people so pissed off about it?

Yeah, he hit her, but did you ever stop to think that he makes her happy? On top of that, folks are pissed because she didn't file a restraining order or something like that, can't remmebr exactly what is.

So, apparently, everyone knows what's best for Rihanna except Rihanna. This whole thing is so frustrating. Not only am I tired of hearing about it, but I also grow weary of the people that think they know what's best, because they don't. They just think they do so they can hear themselves talk and make it seem like they're concerned.

Hopefully this will all go away soon, but until then you can rest assured more "authorities" will be weighing in. Ugh!!!!

Musical Monday vol 13

Usually my "Musical Monday" posts are old school...predominantly 80s, but this week, I've decided to bring in some modern music. Enjoy Paramore's "That's What You Get".

Enjoy that? Well, take a look and listen to this song by up and coming Welsh singer Duffy. Have fun with "Mercy".

Last night was the American Music Awards. A couple of the big winners were Chris Brown and Alicia Keys, so I'll put up some of their music for you, too. First, here is Chris Brown's "Forever". You may recognize it from the gum commercials.

Now here is Alicia Keys' "Superwoman". Truly an inspirational song!

Ok...I just can't help it, we have to have something from the 80s. Hmmm...how "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. Don't worry, you won't be Rick Roll'd.

So, tell me, do you like this week's choices? Don't forget to join the Musical Monday movement!
