Eye Candy 1/31

Female Hottie: Carmen Electra

Like Pam Anderson, Carmen Electra's beauty is overshadowed by her enhanced assets, which, ironically, led to her stardom. Carmen actually got her start as a backup dancer/singer for Prince, who eventually gave her a break (if you didn't hear it, you're lucky). Since then, she has gone on to appear in Playboy, Maxim, and pretty much any other popular men's magazine, as well as star on the small and big screen in hits such as Baywatch, Scary Movie 4, The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human, Trippin' the Rift, not to mention her own reality show on MTV chronicling her wedding plan to Dave Navarro (a few months later, they were divorced). I'm sure Carmen will continue to be the object of many a man's desire for years to come.

Male Hottie: Edward Norton

Probably one of the most versatile, and underrated, actors working today, Edward Norton makes the list this week by special request. I first came across him in Death to Smoochy, then was seriously disturbed by him in American History X. Last I saw him was in The Incredible Hulk (personally, I think he was on-screen too long for a movie about the Hulk, but that's a different topic, altogether dealing with actor's egos). Other works of his include Fight Club, The Italian Job, Primal Fear, Red Dragon, just for starters.

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Hayley Marie Norman

The movie Fired Up! is responsible for this week's random hottie, Hayley Marie Norman. Not much is known about Hayley, as her career is just starting. To date, aside from Fired Up!, her biggest claim to fame has been as one of the briefcase girls on Deal or No Deal (case #25). She also had a brief scene in the movie Hancock and a 2 episode stint on Crash. Currently, she has 4 movies in production, so, perhaps her career is about to blow up, let's hope so. She's too beautiful and talented not to be seen.

MILF: Judy Reyes

Our MILF for this week, is best known as Carla from Scrubs, although she is not on the current season. Judy Reyes is a recent MILF, giving birth to her daughter back in November. Aside from Scrubs, Judy has appeared in mostly made for TV movies, and guest spots on shows like Castle. I hope she comes back to Scrubs, though. There just something missing without her hotness there.

Classic/Retro Hottie: Pat Priest

This week's classic hottie is mostly known as Marilyn Muster from The Munsters. As a matter of fact, I don't really know what else she's done that comes anywhere near the exposure she received from that program. While she may not have had the longest, most lucrative career, you can't deny how beautiful she was. I believe she's still alive, but retired.

Original thought officially no longer exisits

If you read my movie blog, then you know that I detest remakes of movies (this also goes for TV shows). Well, apparently, this is not seeping into music. Now, this is no new fad. Artists are always doing their own version of someone else's song. Sometimes they improve on the original, and other times you wonder what were they thinking.

Having said this, though, the news came across a couple weeks ago that they were going to remake one of the greatest parts of the 80s, a song that united artists from all genres, and brought the world together in an effort to aid Africa, "We Are the World" (this week's Musical Monday selection, btw).

There are about a gazillion different issues I have with this, but I put those aside when I found out that they were doing this for Haiti and not just randomly remaking it, though I do wonder if they're using Haiti as an excuse, the same way Michael Jackson's brothers are using his death to get that reality show.

Even though this thing will be produced by the master, Quincy Jones (he did the original, as well), it just won't be the same. Not just because many of the artists from 20 or so years ago are aged (or have passed on), but because the musical landscape now is so much different now. You just now that if they do this, there has to be some kind of rap up in there. I don't know about you, but some gangsta rapper "spitting rhymes" just doesn't scream help to me.

Needless to say, I will keep an open mind ,but am not crazy about this idea. Personally, I think they need to come up with a new song. Whatever happened to original though? Is it truly dead?

The league that should never be made

Last week, I was watching ESPN and they briefly mentioned how some guy wanted to create an all-white basketball league. By all-white, I mean it was going to exclude African-Americans, Latinos, Asians, and those not born in America.

I didn't think too much about it, because it just sounds so preposterous and was probably some old guy flapping his lips and some reporter heard him and created a story, but apparently there is some steam behind this and it is gaining some stream, at leas in terms of people wanting to know more about it. Not sure if that's more to do with morbid curiosity, or if people want an all-white basketball league.

The guy defends this idea by saying that the NBA is full of thugs and foreign born players and has departed from what basketball originally was. As a former basketball player myself (just in high school), I can say that yeah, basketball is far from what it once was, but if you really think about it, so is just about everything else these days.

Am I the only one that seems to think this guy is off his rocker? An all-white league? Personally, I have a problem with anything that is racially exclusive, but this is just ridiculous, offensive, and not necessary. I haven't heard anyone clamoring for an all-white basketball league that excludes anyone not born in America, have you?

Did I mention he wants this league to have a team set in Augusta, GA. You know the place that is notorious for having one of the most exclusive country clubs, and is literally about as white as liquid paper. Believe it or not, they have declined his offer. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be that this thing is a bad idea, and would be a PR nightmare for any city that houses one of these teams, should it even get off the ground?

I seriously doubt this will go any further than this guy's mind. He claims its not about race. Maybe in this day and age where it seems like everything is about race or sex or something that can be construed as offensive it still seems that way, but he should have never opened his mouth about this. If he really wanted it that bad, then just get a bunch of Klansman and have a pick up game back there in the backwoods somewhere then go burn some crosses. To me, this guy belongs with them.

I was raised to treat everyone as an equal, regardless of their race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc. I'm sure that I'm not the only one, but this guy apparently believes that white people deserve an league of their own and everyone else doesn't. Wonder if he has some Hitler in his blood.

What the bucket?!?

ok, so the title is my attempt at a bad pun. sorry about that.

I'm not happy with photobucket right now. Why? Well, they decided to delete a whole mess of my pics. Well, not delete, but rather say they violate their terms of service.

I emailed them and asked what it was that was in violation, and the e-mail I received back was that they reserve the right to delete photos at anytime. In other words, they're being douches about this whole thing.

Needless to say, I'm searching for a new photosite that won't randomly delete photos or say they violate their terms of service because they want to. Even if they've been on there for about 3 yrs or so now!!!

Ugh! I'm so not a happy camper about this!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Musical Monday

With all this talk about saving Haiti and whatnot, I thought it'd be a great time to pull out a true classic song that really brought the world together in the early 80s. Please enjoy "We Are the World".

How many people can you spot and name?

Eye Candy 1/24

Female Hottie: Vida Guerra

This week's female hottie is not an actress, but rather a model with a pretty face and killer curves. No, she's not Kim Kardashian. Vida Guerra became the fantasy of many a male with her 2002 lingerie spread in FHM magazine. Since then, she has gone on to star in hip hop music videos, do other magazine spreads, including Playboy, and have a role in the ungodly awful National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2 (she was one of the bright spots of that mess, let me tell ya). I',m sure she'll be on quite a few more covers and spreads. She is some tasty eye candy, that is for sure.

Male Hottie: Tyrese Gibson

Remember that Coke commercial a few years ago with this guy getting on the bus singing with his headphones on? Well, that was Tyrese. Since then, he's gone on to become a model, actor, and moderately successful R & B singer, as well as the object of many a woman's desire (must be the 6 pack).

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Leonor Varela

Blade 2 brings us our random hottie for this week. Leonor Varela played the daughter of a vampire elder in that movie. Fans of Arrested Development may recognize her, as well. She also played Cleopatra in a TV movie of the same name. Currently, she is working on a film in her native Chile. Hopefully she'll return to the states and bless us with her grace and beauty once again.

MILF: Lauren Holly

Lauren Holly is not your typical MILF. Her 3 children are adopted, but just because she didn't give birth to them, doesn't mean she's not their mother. This aged like fine wine hottie is best known for her role on Picket Fences and of being the token female blonde in the movie Down Periscope, but her career encompasses much more than just these. See if you can find her in Crank 2: High Voltage. Currently, she is wrapping up production on a film to be released later this year and has appeared in Leverage.

Classic/Retro Hottie: Jean Simmons

I feel kind of bad for this pick. I chose Jean for this slot about the middle of last week and she passed away on Friday. Such a shame. Another classic beauty from the days of yesteryear, Jean's resume includes some big movies such as Guys & Dolls, North and South, Spartacus, etc. She also made an appearance on Star Trek: The Next Generation and lent her voice to a couple of animated films. To her credit she won an Emmy and a Golden Globe, as well as the hearts of many men.

Quote of the Week

An eye for an eye leaves the world blind

Friday, January 22, 2010

No, no one least nott hat I know, except for the little woman's car. I think she said it was about 6 yrs old or so. Not exactly sure what happened, but over the holidays it was doing that whole shaking thing and even stopped in the middle of the road a couple of times.

Her dad, who owns a garage, finalyl came to get it, and after a couple ddays of looking at it, the diagnosis is that the transmission is shot and unreparable. In the meantime she's borrowing her mom's jeep (which is not conducive for grocery shopping or anything other than off road driving) until she can get a new one.

Things happen I suppose.

Anyone got any suggestins for a new/used car?

The day that wouldn't end

I'm one of those people that really enjoys my days off whenever I can get them, but for some reason yesterday actually wished I was at work. I'm not really sure why, but I was bored out of my ever-loving mind. It was ridiculous, I tell you.

I can't really tell you why it was like that yesterday. Mayne just on of those days I guess, or I just need a hobby or something.

Any suggestions?

Musical Monday

We lost one of the true greats in R & B last week, so I would like to dedicate this week's selection to the great Teddy Pendegrass. Please enjoy one of his biggest mellow hits, "Love TKO".

Eye Candy 1/17

Female Hottie: Amy Adams

I have a thing for redheads, so its really no surprise that she would eventually make this list, right? Amy Adams first reached mainstream success with Enchanted. Since then, her career has been red hot, with appearances in a variety of movie genres. She was last seen last summer in Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian and Julie & Julia. Hopefully her career will continue to be as hot as she is

Male Hottie: Jason Isaacs

Jason Isaacs is currently best known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. Apparently, women drop at this guy's feet. I don't see why. To me, he looks a bit like an older version of Jude Law, but who am I to judge? A surprise role that many people may overlook is that he was George Darling/Captain Hook in Hook.

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Zhang Ziyi

China and the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon are responsible for this week's random hottie, Zhang Ziyi. If she looks a bit familiar, then you may have seen her in Rush Hour 2, Horsemen, or Memoirs of a Geisha. She also lent her voice to Karai in the TMNT movie. Her American career is primed to take off with a couple of films set to be released in the next year.

MILF: Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar is best known for her years playing Buffy in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, although I'm sure there are more than a few guys out there who think her claim to fame is that kiss from Cruel Intentions. She and hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. just welcomed in a baby girl back in September. Gellar's career includes roles in All My Children, The Grudge, Robot Chicken, TMNT, Scream 2, and both Scooby Doo movies. Her next project will be a series for HBO called The Wonderful Maladys.

Retro/Classic Hottie: Robin Givens

This week's retro hottie may best be known for her marriage (and divorce) from Mike Tyson, rather than her career, but Robin Givens has actually been on screen a bit. Her biggest role were in Head of the Class and on the big screen with Eddie Murphy and Halle Berry in Boomerang. The rest of her career has been mostly guest appearances in everything from The Cosby Show to Burn Notice.

Have a laugh

lol This was sent to me this morning and I just had to share it with all of you. It gave a good chuckle (excuse the language at the end, though)

Hypnotist at Senior Center

It was entertainment night at the Senior Center and over 300 seniors came to see the show.

Claude the hypnotist exclaimed: 'I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience.'

The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat 'I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch. It's a very special watch. It's been in my family for six generations.'

He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, 'Watch the watch, watch the watch, and watch the the watch...

'The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface. Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a hundred pieces.

'SHIT!' said the Hypnotist.

It took three days to clean up the SeniorCenter ...

Quote of the Week

Schooling the young 'uns

When I was in high school, aside from being a band geek, I also played a few sports (basketball, soccer, baseball, track, swimming). With school getting out early this afternoon, I was ready to get out of there, get home, and take advantage of the half day off by catching up on some sleep. As I was about to lock up, I got pulled in to the gym by a few of my students who more or less said that I was too old to play basketball.

Playing a game with a bunch of 8th graders...especially at my age and the current shape I'm in, you'd think I'd have not been able to keep up, but instead it was quite the fun game and I schooled them.

Even though I'm far removed from the perfect specimen I was in high school (I'm exaggerating, of course), I'm amazed at how I was able to run up and down the courts like that for a good hour and not get winded. I guess I still have some memories from my athlete days left in these old bones, after all.

Not trying to sound like a big douche, but it was totally awesome dominating those boys! Yeah, I'm a little competitive. Wanna make somethin' about it?

Avatar musings

Normally, I'd post this on my movie blog, and I probably will put it on there later tonight.

I'm sure you've all have heard ad nauseum about Avatar (click on the link and you can read my review).

First of all, what do you think has made it such a hit? The 3D blue people? James Cameron as the director? Word of mouth? Special effects? All these may be a factor, but my theory is that it is something different and *GASP* original.

That's ORIGINAL thought, something you never see coming out of Hollywood anymore in these days where every movie is based on a book, comic book, TV show, or a remake of a far superior film from yesteryear.

Next up, I've been hearing the past couple of days about how Avatar is racist and anti-military. Apparently, people believe that it makes it seem like no civilization can survive without the "all powerful white male" hero. As far as the military goes, people are outraged that a bunch of ex-Marines (and various other military branches) are the villains.

Ok, let's start with the racist stuff. If you actually are analyzing this thing so hard that you attempt to find racist overtones in a movie...that's right...Avatar is a movie, not a way of life...then there is something severely wrong with you. Look, the guy that is the hero is a white guy, big deal. It would worked just as well with any other race. I seriously doubt that they went out of their way to cast a white hero. That's just the way it went. These people that are getting all bent out of shape and calling this movie racist need to go audition for the sequel if they have that much of a problem with it.

On the military front, I can understand their outrage about being portrayed as the villains, especially when you think about the fact that little kids may see them that way, but just as I said wit the racist thing...IT IS ONLY A MOVIE!!!!! Seriously, if their that pissed off, then, they should consider how warriors such as ninja, samurai, knights, etc. feel about being portrayed as villains in various other movies.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is rather ridiculous that people are so hell-bent on finding every little thing wrong with something that has become a hit. If these were major things, then it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but instead these are just the kind of things some petty geek living in their mother's basement living on hot pockets and root beer has come up with and spread over the internet. Unfortunately, it gained momentum and people have been discussing it.

I've given my thoughts on it, what are yours?

The power of being late

Don't you just hate being late? Especially when it's something that's totally out of your hands? That's what happened to me this morning.

Usually I wake up and head to work about 7:15, but lo and behold, that's about when the power decided to go out. The only reason I know this is because the little woman had just walked out the door a few minutes before and I was just getting back into my last few minutes of sleep.

Needless to say, I woke up later than I should have and was late to work.

What was weirder is the fact that the power went out. Initially I though maybe we had forgotten to pay the bill, especially considering the time they turned it out and since it was clear as a bell outside. It was just weird, lemme tell ya.

I guess I'll never know why the power went out. Luckily, I don't teach a class first thing in the morning, so it wasn't that big of a deal, but I still hate being late!

Yeah, I'm weird like that. Anything like ever happen to any of you?

As human beings, we are instinctively set into routines and, at the same time, spontaneous. This brings me to the point of this post.

Fresh off Xmas break, last week was supposed to be more of a getting back into the swing of things, then the "big cold" hit on Friday cancelling school. Ok, no big, right?

Well, this week, I have to miss Thursday and Friday because of honor band stuff (those of you familiar with the band world will know what that is...maybe). Even if I wasn't going to be gone, Friday is only a half day because of report cards.

On top of all this, Monday is Martin Luther King Day, so that's another day of no school.

With all that, its hard to get into a routine for both us teachers, as well as the students. However, I'm not really complaining about the days off. I love mean, I hate missing work for such frivolity! lol

Seriously, though, by the time we finally do get back into a routine, it'll be Mardi Gras break. That's the thing I hate about the second half of the year, there is no continuity, until the very end, and then its just all stress.

Oh well, I'll live.

Musical Monday

A little change for this week's musical monday as we're gonna jazz it up a bit. I hope you enjoy Harry Connick, Jr.'s " Whisper Your Name".

Eye Candy 1/10

Female Hottie: Sanaa Lathan

This week's female hottie is Sanaa Lathan. While she may not be a household name, she has been around. Check her out in Blade, Love & Basketball, Alien vs. Predator, or in season 4 of Nip/Tuck. Currently, you can hear her each week as the voice of Donna on The Cleveland Show. Hopefully, she'll get back in front of the camera so we can enjoy her hotness again soon.

Male Hottie: Orlando Bloom

This week's male hottie is best known for playing second fiddle to Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies or for being an elf in The Lord of the Rings movies. At least those are the films that made his career (and took up a good chunk of the past decade). For some reason ladies love this guy, so hope you enjoy this week's choice.

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Nicky Whelan

This week's random hottie is from Australia, but has been appearing on the new season of Scrubs. Nicky Whelan is a fitness model/actress who is looking to further her career in the states. Apart from Scrubs, she will be be the lead in the upcoming comedy Hollywood & Wine. Hopefully she was cast for more than her looks (which aren't too shabby).

MILF: Eva LaRue

Our MILF for this week is Eva LaRue, best known for her roles on All My Children and CSI: Miami. She has one daughter and has been married twice. She also has a budding composing career. In 2004, she won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Original Song for a piece she composed and was used in a lovemaking scene on All My Children.

Classic/Retro Hottie: Eva Gabor

This week's retro hottie is Eva Gabor. She is best known as Lisa Douglas on the TV show Green Acres and for having a handful of husbands (something that apparently runs in the family). You can also hear her voice in the Disney films The Aristocats, The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under.

It's not a snow's a cold day!

The title says it all. I didn't have to go to work today because of schools being closed. Now, the temps here the past couple of days have been getting down in the teens (not normal for Louisiana...especially south La.), but last night was supposed to have been the big "freeze".

As a precaution, they canceled school. The e-mail I got said they made the decision based on the "extreme temperatures". That may have been a factor, but I think it was more about the possible icy roads.

Anyway, I know those of you that live in normally cold temps have got to be loving the fact that we get out for cold days down

I understand security, but this is ridiculous

Have you heard about this yet?

The video of Sunday's incident showed that a federal officer at the airport left his post shortly before the man walked by the same spot and into a secure area.

The video was released by a U.S. senator amid rising concerns over aviation security threats after an attempted bombing aboard a December 25 U.S.-bound flight.

Earlier in the silent video, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer is seen apparently asking the same man to move away from the security cordons that guide arriving passengers out of the secure area and into the concourse.

The video shows the TSA officer leaving his desk and walking toward the airport concourse.

The man then slipped underneath a security cordon, met a departing female passenger who had already passed through a security checkpoint, and gave her what appeared to be a goodbye kiss, the video showed. The man and woman, who remain unidentified, walked off screen hand-in-hand.

The TSA officer, who has been placed on administrative leave, returned moments later.

The breach at Newark Liberty International Airport, one of three major airports serving the New York City area, rattled security officials and the airline industry because it came so soon after the botched Christmas Day bombing of a Detroit-bound U.S. airliner.

"It is unacceptable that the Port Authority (the agency in charge of the airport) took so long to produce this tape, but now that it is public we have a better chance of getting to the bottom of this major security incident," Senator Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey, who released the video, said in a statement.

The video can be viewed on the Internet here

The security scare closed the airport for hours and prompted authorities to force thousands of passengers to go through security screening again.

One of the planes hijacked in the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States took off from the Newark airport. That flight crashed into a Pennsylvania field after passengers confronted the hijackers.

Authorities shut down a California airport on Tuesday after a suspicious amber liquid in a passenger's bag tested positive for explosives -- only to determine that the substance was merely a harmless container of honey.

Isn't that insane? Sure, security is important and all, but this is insane. How is a kiss a matter of national security?

Yeah, they were wrong for crossing over that barrier thingy, but honestly, what harm can one kiss do? It's like last night on Nip/Tuck, Shawn the Mile High Club. *ahem* Then, the air marshal jumped out of his seat and nearly busted down the door and threatened to handcuff him to the seat after he got them out of the bathroom, like he was some sort of common criminal. Ridiculous!

I may be alone on this, but there needs to be a line drawn between national security and common sense.

Proud to be a Demon

Every now and then, there comes a time to give props to my alma mater, especially since little ol' Northwestern St ate University is barely known outside of Louisiana, East/Central Texas, and various other dotted parts of the country.

Well, recently, ESPN released their top sports moments of the decade. Actually, they did this back in early December, but I'm just know getting the memo. While we didn't make the list, there was the mention in the "others receiving votes" section, which is still more mention than NSU normally gets.

Here is that fateful moment (NSU is in purple)

L.A. poachers

Those people in L.A. are truly nothing more than greedy, entitled, selfish,....I could go on with adjectives for days. What brings this about? Read this...
There's a company that plans to build a stadium outside of L.A., and that company also has plans to steal a couple of NFL teams from other cities. Their intended targets of thievery: the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars. From the AP:

Majestic Realty Co. managing partner John Semcken said the company is still considering at least seven franchises for a new stadium some 25 miles east of Los Angeles.

They also include the San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders.

But he said the Jaguars and the Bills are at the top of the list because they play in small markets that tamp down their earning potential and because they have little hope of building larger venues in their home regions.

At the very least, that last part is true. Building a bigger stadium for Jacksonville football fans would be like building a bigger public library for high school drop-out crystal meth tweakers. It's just not going to get much use.

It's kind of a strange announcement, and if I were a Jaguars or Bills fan, I'd take it a little personally. Basically, the L.A. people have just announced that they hate you and are planning on taking something that you love. That's just not very nice.

There's no reason to panic yet, though, as we're a long way from anything like that happening. A lot of people have wanted to put a team in L.A., and every single one of them has failed to get their act together. When it comes to landing an NFL team, L.A., for about fifteen years now, has been all talk.

I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet, Bills and Jags fans. Of course, it probably wouldn't hurt to start, you know, filling your stadium, either.

Granted, this quote is from a blog, but it is still a fact that this company wants to steal away an NFL team. Now, I could care less about any of these teams. I have no allegiances to them, as they aren't ones that I cheer for, but I do have issue with the fact that these people want to take away what amounts to billions of dollars from small markets just so almighty Los Angeles can have a team.

Maybe its just me, but shouldn't you have a team before you about building a stadium? Correct me if I'm wrong, but about 20 yrs ago, they had 2 teams (Raiders and Rams) and lost them both. What's to make people believe they can keep a team now?

They should leave these teams alone and wait for the next NFL expansion or for a team's current contract with a city or be up. Besides, its not like L.A. needs the money, they already have at least 2 teams in all the major sports!

Eye Candy 1/3

Female Hottie: Rachel McAdams

Rachel McAdams burst on the scene in movies like The Notebook. Mean Girls, and The Wedding Crashers. Along the way she hooked up with actor Ryan Gosling for a bit and has had a pretty nice career. Currently she can be seen in Sherlock Holmes. Although I prefer her as a brunette, rather than a blonde, with beauty like that, I don't understand why we don't see more of her.

Male Hottie: Chace Crawford

This Zac Efron wannabe that is this week's male hottie is Chace Crawford. Currently, he's starring on Gossip Girl and will be seen in the upcoming Footloose remake. Apparently this guy is one of those "hot guys to watch".

note: ladies, if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to suggest them for this this spot

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Anjelah Johnson

Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel is responsible for bringing us this week's random hottie, Anjelah Johnson. The latina lovely recently had a special on Comedy Central, as well as a brief stint on MadTV. Fans of the Oakland Raiders saw plenty of her when she was a cheerleader. Let's hope that her career takes off and we get to see what she can really do. She can't just be another pretty face (even though, she is quite fetching).

MILF: Rebecca Romijn

From model to actress, Rebecca Romijn has been melting hearts for years now. Her most memorable role has to be Mystique from the X-Men movies, but she's had some pretty good ones. Too bad about Eastwick getting cancelled, though. She was really starting to come into her own. If she appears a bit heavier than we normally see her, its because she gave birth to twins in '08, and is no longer on the model diet (a corner of a leaf of lettuce every 3 Personally, I think she looks better with a little meat on her bones, but then again, I don't think there is much that could make this woman look bad. What was John Stamos thinking?

Classic/Retro Hottie: Lark Voorhies

Best known as Lisa Turtle from Saved By the Bell, Lark Voorhies worked hard to erase that image, but, like most of the cast, has come to embrace the legacy. After Bell, she went on to star in a couple of soap operas (Days of Our Lives, Bold & the Beautiful), but left because of conflicts with her religious beliefs. she has also starred in a few movies, and is rumored to portray Whitney Houston in an upcoming biopic. These days she is producing music and film, and always has an eye out for her next project.
