No, no one died...at least nott hat I know, except for the little woman's car. I think she said it was about 6 yrs old or so. Not exactly sure what happened, but over the holidays it was doing that whole shaking thing and even stopped in the middle of the road a couple of times.
Her dad, who owns a garage, finalyl came to get it, and after a couple ddays of looking at it, the diagnosis is that the transmission is shot and unreparable. In the meantime she's borrowing her mom's jeep (which is not conducive for grocery shopping or anything other than off road driving) until she can get a new one.
Things happen I suppose.
Anyone got any suggestins for a new/used car?
