It's not a snow day...it's a cold day!

The title says it all. I didn't have to go to work today because of schools being closed. Now, the temps here the past couple of days have been getting down in the teens (not normal for Louisiana...especially south La.), but last night was supposed to have been the big "freeze".

As a precaution, they canceled school. The e-mail I got said they made the decision based on the "extreme temperatures". That may have been a factor, but I think it was more about the possible icy roads.

Anyway, I know those of you that live in normally cold temps have got to be loving the fact that we get out for cold days down here...lol
