Back by popular demand

One of the most frequent question I get asked about this blog is when will "Eye Candy" be coming back?

Well, dear readers, visitors, and spectators, that series of posts will be returning soon, though, I haven't decided if I'm going to revamp the format or keep it the same, but at least it will be returning, right?

Keep on the lookout!

The return

So, for the handful of you that actually read this lil ol' blog of mine, you may have noticed that I didn't post anything for the past week or so, not even my weekly stuff. Well, aside from being too busy to know whether to scratch my watch or wind my butt thanks to band camp.

It is good to take some time away from the internet, though. This day and age we are a bit too connected. Hell, when was the last time you had a real phone conversation with someone, and I'm not talking about texting. I'm speaking of having an actual human to human conversation?

I actually have a post about this planned for later this week, so be on the lookout.

In the meantime, it is good to be back. Now, I have a few days of vacation left before school starts Friday. Ugh!

What's this?

I'm sure you've all noticed that I haven't posted an actual post since...I dunno...probably May. Yes, I did take a slight hiatus, partly because of the fire and partly because it was good to take some time and reboot, for lack of a better term.

Well, vacation is over (actually, it ended a couple weeks ago...i got the tan lines from band camp to prove it...lol). After enduring teacher meetings this week, the students returned this week....is is Xmas break yet? lol

Anyway, once I get into a routine, there will be actual blog posts here again, instead of random videos.

Thanks to all of you for your concern the past few months. Things are looking up, but would be better if the insurance company would stop giving us the runaround (post forthcoming about that)

Thanks for reading!

The return

I'm sure my faithful readers and followers have noticed that I haven't been posting on a regular basis, save for my annual posts (eye candy, musical Monday, quote of the week, and retro commercial Friday).

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was breaking in a new computer. I'm still breaking it in, but everything is all setup and working.

So, this is a little note to say that things will be back to "normal" around here starting Monday. This also coincides with my return to return to work. (Gotta love staff meetings)

In other words, I have officially decided to pursue my Master's Degree, and will be looking at grad schools during the year. Hopefully this time next year I'll have been accepted.

Don't ask me where it'll be just yet. Obviously, my alma mater (Northwestern St.) is on the list, but the others are still a mystery. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for reading!

Catching up is hard to do

Yes, I'm back! I've got dropping and blogging to catch up on (my EC status has been downgraded and I'm sure that I've fallen out of the top dropper running for many of my regular dropees), so please bare with me the next couple of days. I want to thank all of you that dropped by while I was away, and even more for those that bought ads and commented.

Back to business

As you all know, I was sick with the flu last week. It took alot out of me, and for a good portion of the sickness I felt like an invalid. Now that I'm back up and moving around and back at work, I feel great. I'm not 100% back to normal yet, though. Still getting my strength back..at least enough to get back on track with my push up challenge. Let me tell ya, that drained me more than it normally does when I did them this morning...lol Anyways, I just wanted to inform all of my readers out there that I will return to regular blogging and dropping tomorrow, so just hang in there and thanks for all of your care, concern, and prayers.
