Eye Candy 3/28

Female Hottie: Olga Kurylenko

Out first hottie for this week is best known for being a model or her roles in Hitman and Quantum of Solace. Olga Kurylenko is Ukrainian beauty with nowhere to go but up. Sure she could afford to eat a sandwich or 10, but I'm still not complaining. Look for her next year as Marie Curie in the movie RAD.

Male Hottie: Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey is this week's male hottie. For some reason he doesn't like shirts, but hey, if I had abs like that I'd probably walk around all day with my shirt off, too. McConaughey is best known for his laid back, surfer dude attitude mixed with his Texan drawl. He was last seen in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, but can also be seen in Dazed and Confused, Contact, A Time to Kill, The Wedding Planner, etc. He doesn't have anything on tap that I'm aware of, but seeing as his girlfriend just gave birth to their second daughter this year, he may be taking some time to spend with her.

Random Hottie from a movie or TV show seen this week: Jennifer Esposito

The movie Master of Disguise brings us this week's random hottie, Jennifer Esposito. Jennifer was last seen as Christina Applegate's not-so-nice friend on Samantha Who? until it was unceremoniously canceled. She has also been seen in Spin City, He Got Game, Crash, Summer of Same, just to name a few.

MILF: Mariska Hargitay

Geez, is anyone this week going to have a normal name? This week's MILF is Hollywood royalty. You may know Mariska Hargitay from her role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but did you know that she is the daughter of blonde, busty, bombshell Jayne Mansfield? Those are some good genes, if you ask me. Hargitay hasn't done much since getting the job on Law & Order: SVU, save for a cameo appearance in The Love Guru and some crossover work in the other Law & Order shows. She gave birth to her son in 2006.

Classic/Retro Hottie: Billie Holiday

Finally, someone with a normal name!!! Billie Holiday, otherwise known as "Lady Day", is arguably the best jazz singer ever to grace a stage. The argument between who is better, her or Ella Fitzgerald rages on as much as the Ginger/Mary Anne debate. Holiday had many hits, most notably "Lady Sings the Blues", "God Bless the Child", "Embraceable You", and "Strange Fruit", not to mention her countless other recordings. Her legacy is still alive and well as her influence stretches to everyone from Diana Krall and Christina Aguilera to even some of the younger singers such as Adele and Leona Lewis.

Mariska Hargitay is one of the few women I consider to be drop-dead gorgeous--even with short hair. Oh my.
