All good things must come to an end

Well, it'll be back to work Monday for me. The time away from the computer and actually getting some fresh air and doing constructive activities during my break has been refreshing and invigorating. It even has me thinking about doing thing more often and possibly finally giving up EC, since most of my computer time is spent dropping, but I'll make that decision by the end of next month.

In the meantime, I have the rest of the weekend to enjoy. I want to thank all of you that have been dropping and advertising while I've been away. For those that don't go already, feel free to swing by the move blog, as well (link is in the sidebar).

So, it'll be back to work Monday, and I have a ton of stuff waiting for me. Gotta start getting my 8th graders ready for high school band, which means teaching them the basics of marching. That should be fun, because that's when you find out that more than half of them don't really know their left from right...lol

On top of that, I have to finish writing music for a friend of mine's show as well as our own. Oh, and then there is this little thing called state contest that'll will be here before I know it. Not to mention spring concert. At least I don't have graduation to worry about. I have to say that's the best thing about teaching middle school...lol

So, now you see why I needed this time off?

band eh? I was a flutist. Always in the front during March Band. I remember one year part of my flute falling off somewhere during the parade. Quite literally a row of keys was just gone. Nothing but empty holes. Had to fake it. Then had to get the flute fixed. Ahhhh those were the days. ;)
