Yes, you read the title right. Apparently, there is a group on Facebook that posed the question on whether or not to kill President Obama. This is beyond wrong.
Whatever your political views are, it doesn't matter. There is no reason to wish death upon a human being, let alone start a group for that sole purpose.
I don't have all the details on the group. It was brought to my attention in my blog surfing tonight, but if Facebook ever does anything right, they need to remove this group.
The creators of the group should be reprimanded as well. Obviously, they haven't done anything particularly wrong, as far as I know. I think it is illegal to make nay kind of threat on the President's life, but I could be wrong. If I'm not, then, the CIA, FBI, Secret Service, or whoever handles this kind of stuff needs to hunt these people down and handle them accordingly.
That's just my opinion.

I totally agree with you on this. When I heard about it, I was totally shocked! I don't always agree with Mr. President, but that is why we are a democratic society...I have the freedom to disagree with some of his actions. But, that doesn't mean I want him to be killed! Honestly, it is just like you said...It is beyond wrong!
I also thought that you cannot make publicly make threats like this against the President. If it isn't illegal, it really should be.
I should do some research and see if it is a crime.
You are absolutely correct. I believe the latest news is that a child created the poll; not certain if that is correct or not. Amazing.
I can believe that a child created it. I had a third grader tell me that Obama was evil and the destructor of our nation when we took all the kids to go and watch the speech to the schools. (His wording not mine!)
