So, my CD drive is struggling to try and work, but just isn't doing it. A friend of mine said to take the bottom of the comp and adjust it, so I'm debating whether to take the chance and do it myself, or let someone who actually knows what they're doing take care of it. Chances are I'll go with the latter since the laptop is the only working comp we have in this house right now. Ugh! If it's not one thing, its another with these things!

My laptop totally quit working last weekend. I took the battery out, waited a while, put it back in. No good. So, on Monday morning I took it to my favorite computer guru. He tried to turn it on, said, "Weird" -- then had it working within 3 or 4 minutes. I asked what he did and he replied, "I held my mouth right."
computer gurus are good for that. wish i knew one that would be around more than nce every blue moon...lol
