Yes, you read that title right. No, there's no inside joke there. Here it is nearly 4 in the morning and I'm up because some douche decided to mow his yard in the middle of the night.
At first, I thought it was the guy down the street checking his truck. He drives an 18 wheeler and typically goes through a series of checks before he heads out. That's no big, the neighborhood is used to that, but to mow your yard at 3 in the morning?
You should see him out there, riding around on his little mower with one of those police searchlights on. I've lodged a complaint, as I'm sure other neighbors have. You should see the lights that have turned on since he started. UGH! What's wrong with my neighbor?
Wonder if I can get back to sleep. Probably not. GRRR!!! He owes me some sleep!

That is totally inexcusable! I thought I had I bad with my neighbor who starts up around 8PM and mows until 9:30. I'm sure if there are enough complaints, it'll stop. Let us know if it does. If not, might I suggest letting the air out of his mower tires?
That would be when I would sneak over in the middle of the NEXT night and cut his mower lines.. No excuse for that kind of disturbance...
Although, I'm the same woman who is contemplating taking my neighbors wind chimes down and putting them where the sun don't shine..
Oh, the joys of neighbors!
I'm with Junk Drawer Kathy: let us know if this happens again. Not that we can do anything about it, but it would be nice to know if enough folks say something to keep it from happening again!
Can you set off the alarm on your car from inside your house? Try that a 4 am tomorrow. Maybe get all neighbors together to do the same thing.
Oh I like Sherry's idea!
What did this douche bag get a new toy and he couldn't wait to try out the search light on it?
At least so far it's just 1 mowing incident. We have a douche bag across the street who plays drums (badly) til sometimes 2am. I can't tell you how many times I've called the sheriff to complain. Nothing ever happens. I think he may know someone there.
Guess I should be lucky the squirrels outside my window don't have miniature mowers.
