Today I actually took the time to drop 300 cards. It's been a while since I've had the time to be able to do that, so I figured take advantage of it today. Well, much to my chagrin, as I'm going through my drops, I'm coming across many of the same cards over and over again.
Let me be clear, there is nothing wrong with the repeat droppers. As a matter of fact, I'm ever so grateful for them, even moreso to those that read and comment, but last time I dropped 300, I may have made it to the top of the 6th page before I hit the big 3-0-0, an today I was halfway down page 13!
Oh well, as long as people are stll dropping, reading, and commenting, I'm happy.

Yeah.. it's getting too much.. It's actually due to all those "paid ads" on EC. Even right now, the ad that is supposed to be on my widget is showing the "paid ads" that I did not approve. (They automatically approve after 24hrs it seems).
And these paid ads are from the same blogs over and over again. I don't know how the system works and have already slowed down on my dropping..
I think many people have stopped dropping. I've also noticed that I'm not getting any ad purchased by EC credits. I think I had 1 in the last week and that was from someone who regularly buys ads from me using her credits.
Right now I don't even see the incentive to purchase ads with credits, because the stats aren't working so you can't even tell if you are getting your credits worth buying an ad on a particular site.
(I also think people may be stockpiling their EC credits and as soon as the cash buyout option starts people are going to exchange their credits for cash and likely leave.)
I've never done the 300 drops. I do only a few a day on the ones I actually read.
Also, I agree with Lola's comments.
Shemah- my sentiments exactly
Lola- i think you're right, but i haven't heard of this cashout thing
Sherry- it takes a lot of patience to do 300 drops, lemme tell ya
