I was watching Pardon the Interruption on ESPN yesterday afternoon, and as they were getting ready to go off the air, they made their pick for who would win between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins. Not really being a fan of either team I wasn't really paying attention. However, they mentioned that Obama and McCain would be interviewed at halftime.
I already knew that, but what caught my attention was that of the last 17 elections, 15 times the Redskins have won the night before, and the incumbent party ended up winning the election.
So, this means, a Redskin victory would be a good omen for McCain, and a Steeler victory would be a good omen for Obama. Not sure of the score, but the Steelers beat the snot out of the Redskins, but in the process, loss their starting quarterback to injury.
Now, Obama lost his grandmother yesterday.hmmm...loss of qb=loss of grandmother? beating the snot out of Redskins=beating the snot out of McCain? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Just thought it was an intersting little tidbit.
